My maternal grandmother, is an 82 year old woman who can barely walk. She's had knee problems for as long as I can remember.
When she comes to stay at mom's, she comes to my house to see my plants too... (I'm across the street - lucky I know) She's always told me that I should have a "Hiervabuena". (Mint plant)
Well last week, with the help of my 11 yr old niece, she managed to come to my house just to give me a piece of mint she found.
I had no idea about mint and what to do with it. Granny just told me to put it in water until I get dirt. Today I remembered I had some dirt left from the last bag I bought. So I planted it, and watered it.
It looked really sad at first but when I went back to look at it, it looked nice and happy.
Time to read up on mint and see the full benefits... Grams just says, "it's good luck". I'm sure there's more to it.
